Starting a small business while in graduate school?!

Something I remind myself of every day!

Besides school and the business, up until recently I also had a job! Which I do not recommend. Overloading yourself with so much work that you literally have ZERO time for yourself is not sustainable!

Fortunately, my schooling and small business have aligned; even up to the point where it's becoming ironic - coursework in my classes ends up being a real-life lesson or experience in my business. It's really cool and sometimes gives me chills!

Although grad school takes up SO much of my time, having my own business (opposed to working for someone else) actually makes life a little easier. I set my own hours, make my own appointments, name my own pricing, and still have time for ME.

Ultimately, the plan is: when I graduate in Spring 2028 I'll have a fully functional business as a licensed architect.
